Supporting Families New Zealand began in 1987, when we were known as The Schizophrenia Fellowship. SFNZ now has office locations across the country, providing individual and family support to over 1,000 people in need on any given day.
Our Free Services Include
Advocacy - Face-to-face support, helping family, whanau and anyone affected by mental distress safely navigate their way through mental health and addiction services to get the help they need.
Education - Workshops, presentations and skills training for families, communities and professionals.
Information - About mental health and addiction problems, and services and supports available.
Support Groups - Regular monthly local groups, plus access to online supports and moderated social media.
